Dr Sunil Gupta is a Consultant Haematologist based at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (Conquest Hospital).
Dr Gupta has over 20 years of experience in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology. He began his training in India at the Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi, and continued training in Singapore’s National University Hospital and the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney Australia, before joining Kings College Hospital, London in 2004. He completed full formal training under London Deanery at Kings and attained completion certificate in specialist training. He has done research in paediatric haematology and his thesis was on anthracycline toxicity in children. He wanted to broaden his horizon in haeamtology and thus completed MRCP (internal medicine) and FRCPath (haematology) and now has solely an adult haematology-oncology practice.
Dr Gupta has been working as a Consultant Haematologist since May 2011. He joined Conquest and Eastbourne Hospitals as Consultant Haematologist in September 2012. His area of speciality is Haematology-oncology but has keen interest in clotting disorders as well. Dr Gupta offers diagnostic and treatment services of various primary blood disorders and chemotherapy related to Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma is available for private patients.
Dr Gupta is a member of the British Society of Haematology, European Haematology Association, Medical Protection Society and the American Society of Haematology.
